VOLKSWAGEN GOLF WAGON TDI
The Volkswagen Golf Wagon is the most efficient station wagon. Its 2.0 litre clean diesel is very economical in the city and is even more thrifty than hybrids on the open road. The Golf, formerly known as the Rabbit, is currently in its sixth generation and this latest vehicle offers a clean diesel engine for the first time to Canada.
The Golf's turbocharged direct injection diesel engine uses a common rail injection system for the first time, replacing the less economical Pumpe Düse unit injector system. Also helping its fuel efficiency is its body shape, which is more aerodynamic and quieter than its predecessor.
