Most Efficient Two Seater Cars
Below are the top 10 most efficient two seater cars based on their city
fuel consumption.
There's a large gap in fuel economy between the top two and the rest because the top two are all about efficiency with their small engines and light weight. The remaining eight are thoroughbred sports cars focusing on performance.
This class of car is one of the last to see an influx of hybrids but they are on their way. Lots of sports car manufacturers are currently developing hybrids, including Ferrari and Porsche. Honda are in pole position, being the first company to develop a hybrid sports coupe.

Honda CR-Z
The most efficient two seater car is the Honda CR-Z.
This sporty looking coupe is definitely more focused on fuel economy than performance though. Its small 1.5 liter engine and 10kW electric motor combine to produce just 91kW and it takes 9.9 seconds for the car to reach 60mph. The plus is a fuel efficieny that beats the tiny Smart fortwo.
The CR-Z does have fun and responsive road handling though and looks great. Unusually for a hybrid its also available with manual transmission for a more engaging drive.
